 AXIOM Type AMI w/AS-Interface Diagnostics

Following the successful introduction last year of the Axiom series type AMI discrete valve communication & control device for quarter-turn automated valves, IMTEX Controls now offer on-board diagnostics with AMI96 models which enable end user customers to increase uptime and reduce maintenance costs. Diagnostic systems may be selected which will interface with any AS-I network using version 2.1 or greater masters/gateways.

 GOST R Certification

In order to export products into the Russian market-place, it is necessary to obtain Russian mandatory certification. The most common documents needed for Russia are the GOST R Certificate of Conformity (CoC) or Declaration of Conformity (DoC) assuring compliance with Russian safety requirements.

The Federal Agency on the Technical Regulation and Metrology (formerly Gosstandart), the Russian Authority responsible for standards development, accreditation and metrology has issued GOST R certification to IMTEX Controls for the type AQ EEx ia intrinsically safe range and the type IQ EEx d flameproof range of valve monitor systems.

Certified products shall be marked with the GOST R conformity mark and the new certificate is valid until 22 March 2010.

 ATEX Quality Assurance Notification

SIRA Certification recently completed a mandatory ISO 9001:2000 / ATEX QA audit of the IMTEX Controls factory in Tonbridge to satisfy the requirements for ISO 9001:2000 Certification and Quality Modules under the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC.

Following a successful audit, IMTEX were issued with an updated Sira ATEX Annex VII QA Notification (SIRA 03 ATEX M284) and ISO 9001:2000 Certificate to cover the type AQ and type SLR EEx ia intrinsically safe range and the type IQ EEx d flameproof range of valve monitor systems.
